$449.99Our team of Creative STEM Instructors and Event Coordinator design your kiddo’s 3 hour birthday event which includes science demonstrations, a project that involves assembling a STEM Kit, an activity/game and fresh popcorn from our Popcorn Machine made our -in house Popcorn Station Master! These can be developed in line with the theme of the party decided by yourself. We aim to incorporate exploration and discovery (through the science demonstrations), art and design (coloring, decorating and imagining), build and assembly, tools and safety, and a game/activity at the end.
The base price includes all standard supplies, tools and materials to have a wonderful and memorable day. All you bring is the food and decorations, and leave the rest to us. Popular food choices we’ve seen among parents include Birthday cake/cupcakes + Pizza. We do have a fridge and freezer in case you need to store an ice cream cake or other items.
The party begins with some awesome science demonstrations to excite and delight. We choose science demonstrations that mesmerize them such as demonstrations on how dry ice and water mix and magical fumes are created, how Cheetos turn kids into dragons when eaten after they are mixed with liquid nitrogen and what makes makes our stand on end when we touch a static ball.
Then they move upstairs to the classroom where they will build a STEM Kit, and then learn how to use and try out child safe wood working tools – drill, jigsaw, lathe, sander – with required safety equipment that is mandatory. For us at MiniMakers, safety comes first!
When the kiddos get hungry we bring them downstairs to the workshop where we have tables and stools set up for them to enjoy the delicious spread of pizzas or whatever else takes your fancy.
The party wraps up with free-play with our science boards and toys, and buttery popcorn made fresh on site!
Science Demonstrations Include
- Van der Graaf machine [Static Ball] that kids get to try out
- Liquid Nitrogen with Cheetos – watch the kids turn into dragons as they take a munch of on cheetos that have been stirred up cold!
- Dry Ice and Water – Let your kids be mesmerized by the magical mist created when dry ice mixes with water, something cold and enchanting that they can touch safely.
There will also be a variety of other interactive science experiments to wow them and open their eyes in wonder!
STEM Kits Choices Include
For each party, ONE choice of STEM KIT can be selected. Each child will build one and take it home, along with anything else that they build.
