MiniMaker’s Spring Break camp is back!
Running from Monday, March 20th to Friday, March 24th, our spring camp will incorporate educational field trips in the Greater Vancouver area, hands-on building activities using our kid-safe tools, interactive science experiments and biology lessons developed by our in-house Biology expert – and so much more!

Every day will be unique and an opportunity to imagine, be creative and work hands-on to make it the most fun camp ever!

Monday – Fieldtrip: Queen Elizabeth Park & Bloedel Conservatory
- LEARN about tropical ecosystems, biodiversity and the importance of habitat protection and plant conservation
- EXPERIENCE senses in the healing garden in the Bloedel Conservatory and handy birds
- EXPLORE the Botanical garden, and observe plants signs, species names and origins
- MAKE connections between spring weather, plants, flowers and pollinators
- ENJOY springtime and play games outdoors in Queen Elizabeth park
Tuesday – In Studio
- LEARN about all the different weather patterns that happen throughout spring with a lesson developed by our in-house biology expert
- BUILD and personalize a bubble machine STEM kit
- EXPERIENCE our industrial laser machine to create a water cycle and rainbow prototype
- EXPLORE our kid-safe tools to develop, plan and build your own solar system system
- ENJOY buttery popcorn freshly made in-studio
Wednesday – In Studio
- LEARN about various spring time sports, their origins and the rules of the games
- BUILD and personalize a variety of sports themed STEM kits
- EXPERIENCE working in teams and building friendships on the sports field
- EXPLORE our kid-safe tools to create-your-own sports games, equipment, and more
- MAKE your own sports club crest using our industrial laser machine
- ENJOY buttery popcorn freshly made in-studio
Thursday – In Studio
- LEARN about the chicken life cycle through a lesson developed by our in-house biology expert
- BUILD our wind energy kit and discuss the importance of wind as renewable energy on a farm
- EXPERIENCE our industrial laser machine to create your own farm sign
- EXPLORE our kid-safe tools to develop, plan and build your own farm
- MAKE your own “butter” slime and learn about the origins and science of butter
- ENJOY buttery popcorn freshly made in-studio
Friday – Fieldtrip: BC Farm Museum
- LEARN different aspects of farming machinery and farming life, with age appropriate personalized tours
- BUILD your child’s knowledge and understanding of farming through the ages and advancements in technology
- EXPERIENCE different pieces of farming equipment and how they work, including the tomato sorter, the blacksmith’s shop and many vehicles
- EXPLORE different exhibitions, including houselife, beekeeping, vehicles and machinery
- MAKE your own rope to keep and take home, and learn the intricacies behind building it
- ENJOY buttery popcorn freshly made in-studio at the end of the day
Key Information:
Drop off time: 8:30 – 9:00am
Pick up time: 4pm

Price/Spots available: $499 for full week, per student – max 12 students
At drop-off, your child will need to have:
- Weather appropriate clothing (ex. Rain jacket, waterproof shoes, umbrella)
- Water bottle
- Lunch and snacks (nut free – following “school rules”)
- Backpack for personal items
